For Canvas Blooms, flowers are more than decoration — they’re a way of shaping atmosphere, marking a moment, and bringing beauty into everyday spaces.

The studio grew out of a career in visual storytelling. Before starting Canvas Blooms, Lorry spent many years in New York as a Creative Director, collaborating with photographers, stylists, and creative teams to bring campaigns and environments to life for brands including Tiffany & Co., Sephora and Coach. Those years working in design sharpened an eye for composition, color, and the small details that make a space feel intentional.

Flowers became a natural extension of that work — a living medium that’s expressive, seasonal, and a little bit joyful. What began as a creative outlet slowly grew into Canvas Blooms.

Today, the studio creates garden-inspired florals for celebrations, brand gatherings, hospitality spaces, and community events. Each arrangement is designed with an art director’s eye and a light, slightly whimsical touch — flowers meant to feel natural, welcoming, and beautifully in tune with the moment.

Whenever possible, we source blooms from local growers, allowing the season to guide the palette and textures of the work.

It’s a simple philosophy we like to call Thorns Out, Petals Up — embracing the beauty, the imperfections, and the joy that flowers bring to the spaces where people gather.
